Nevada Lodge # 4 A.F & A.M. became one of the first Colorado Lodge's, at Colorado's first annual Grand Lodge
communication December 10,1861 Nevada Lodge surrendered its Kansas charter and asked for a Colorado charter which
was issued as Nevada Lodge # 4 A.F & A.M.
Nevada Lodge # 4 A.F & A.M. sits on main street across from city hall and the fire station in the Ghost Town
of Nevadaville Colorado. Nevadaville is located in Gilpin county west of Denver. Nevadaville had a population of
1,000 when the gold was plentiful in the mountains of Colorado, at this time it has a population of 6. If you

General Information
Nevada Lodge regular meetings are held at 1830 hours [6:30 p.m.] on the second Saturday of each and every month of
the year, but the Lodge is normally closed for the months of January, February and March due to bad weather in the
Nevadaville area.
Dinner precedes the meeting at 1800 hours [6:00 p.m.] please feel free join us when you are in Central City or Nevadaville
area.
If traveling to meet us please apply common sense to the trip, if there is snow, or bitter cold in the higher elevations
then there is a high probability that we will not be meeting so call the Lodge's Worshipful Master on (303) 961-0094 before setting
off on the trip.
Nevada Lodge # 4 has two major fund rising functions each and every year to help fund the building renovations:
• Ghost Town rising on the first Saturday in June
• Pancake Breakfast on the second Sunday in July
